Vis Moot
The Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot or Vis Moot is an international moot court competition. Since 1994, it has been held annually in Vienna, Austria attracting more than 300 law schools from all around the world and spurring the creation of more than 20 pre-moots each year before the actual rounds are held in Vienna. It is the largest moot in the world for its field and is considered a grand slam or major moot.

Involvement of Masaryk University
Masaryk University has been sending its team to the Vis Moot competition every year for the last 12 years.
The team of Masaryk University is primarily sponsored by the Faculty of Law, which regularly supports it financially. In addition, the team is financially supported by private sponsors and an association of former members of the competition, who contribute to the funding with membership fees.
Every year, the Masaryk University team also organizes its own pre-moot in Brno.
