Václav Kočařík
Václav is in the last year of his studies at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University in Brno and he is currently working on his master’s thesis focused on the ICC Arbitration. He has also spent one semester at University of Glasgow in Scotland where he undertook courses of Public International Law and expanded his knowledge about the British common law. He is currently working as a paralegal at ROWAN LEGAL in Brno, where he mainly focuses on Arbitration and Commercial law. Apart from law, he is interested in a winemaking because he comes from a winemaker’s family and he also studies Oenology and Viticulture at Mendel University in Brno. In his free time he enjoys travelling, sports and spending time with friends. Václav’s favourite book is the Lord of the Rings written by J.R.R. Tolkien.
Anna Sochorová
Anna is in her last year of studies at Masaryk University and is currently working on her master’s thesis in the field of international legal protection of children. In addition to her studies at Masaryk University, she spent six months studying law in the UK, six months working in Germany and four months working in Spain. Anna had visited over forty countries around the world and is fluent in four languages. She enjoys adrenaline sports, solo hiking, cycling and camping in the woods as she is a member of the Czech Camping Union. In her spare time, you'll probably find her with her friends over a beer. Anna's favorite book is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy written by Douglas Adams.
Tomáš Kotlán
Tomáš is currently in the fourth year of his studies at Masaryk University. He is very passionate about sports of all kinds, especially those contact ones such as boxing. In his free time Tomáš likes to read a good book and enjoys spending time with leisure activities such as watching Netflix. Although he may not seem like it, he is willing to go to great lengths to help other people. He is very fond of Scotland and Scottish culture. In law he is interested in the area of International Investment and Commercial arbitration. Tomáš participated in the 2021 and 2022 FDI Moot which was by far the best law related experience during his studies. Tomáš believes that FDI Moot is a great chance to get an insight into International law and arbitration and now would like to try the other side of the same coin and jump into the area of commercial arbitration. Tomáš's most favourite book is 1984 written by George Orwell.
Anežka Seberová
Anezka is in her third year of studies at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University. Last year she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Faculty of Economics, Technical University of Ostrava. Anezka currently works as a paralegal in a law firm specializing in financial and business law, both of which are of great interest to her. The focus of her work is AML, Compliance, and Internal Regulation. Her curiosity in arbitration and mediation was sparked after participating in a Moot court in the German language. In her free time, Anežka enjoys both team and individual sports, crafting, and reading books. The book, that had a heaviest impact on her life is Amatka written by Karin Tidbeck.
Tomáš Purkrábek
Tomas is in his third year of studies at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University in Brno. His original interest was IT, but that changed and he went down the path of law. He is passionate about all branches of law, especially private law. Since Tomas wanted to get hands-on experience in law that was not purely related to his home country, he decided to join Vis Moot. In his spare time, you will find him either hanging out with his friends or listening to music ranging from UK rap to classical music. His favourite book is Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon.

Jan Šlehofer
Jan is currently finishing his studies at Masaryk University, Faculty of Law. His master’s thesis focuses on the issue of right to be heard and virtual hearings in international arbitration. He represented his alma mater two times in VIS Moot and once in FDI Moot. In the 28th edition of VIS Moot he was awarded an Honourable mention for best oralist (in Hong Kong), the whole team was awarded an Honourable mention for Claimant memorandum, and together with his co-counsel (and currently co-coach) Danylo they were able to get into elimination rounds of the competition. Outside of university he is working at Squire Patton Boggs in the IDR department representing clients both in commercial, as well as investment arbitrations. In his free time, you can find him outside with his Shiba.
Feeling privileged to get all the opportunities and experiences of international moot competitions Jan is back to coach the next team of mooties and push them further than any Czech team got before.

Mgr. Danylo Romashko
Danylo is a junior lawyer focusing on Corporate law, Private equity and Litigation. He participated in the 28th Vis Moot, where the team achieved the best ranking in the history of Masaryk University. Danylo received the Honourable Mention for Best Oral Advocate and currently it is his second year coaching the team.
