Alexandra is a 5th year student at the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University where she focuses on the commercial and international trade law. As an exchange student she is currently studying at the Erasmus University Rotterdam where she wants to broaden her knowledge of alternative dispute resolution. That is also a reason why she participates in the VIS Moot for the second time. In her leisure time Alexandra likes travelling and reading.

Iveta Rohová

Iveta is a 5th year student at the Masaryk University Faculty of Law. She is interested in (European) private international law, commercial law, international arbitration, as well as some areas of EU law. During her high school studies she spent an academic year in the USA. She speaks English fluently, has basic knowledge of French and German and has started to work on learning Italian. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, reading, sports (skiing, badminton, power yoga, karts), learning foreign languages and is also interested in both modern and alternative medicine.

Jiří Uhříček

Jiří is 5th year student at the Faculty of Law, and 4th year student of psychology at the Faculty of Social Studies both at Masaryk University. He spent one term in Sweden at Örebro University. Jiří is interested in international law, commercial law and persuasive psychology. He participated in VIS in year 2011/2012. He is keen on badminton, darts, music and literature.

Linda Thielová

Linda is a 4th year student at Masaryk University Faculty of Law. Last year Linda spent at the University of Toronto Law School as an exchange student at their JD Program. Her professional interests cover both private international law and international criminal and humanitarian law. Linda is also seeking a Bachelor´s degree in Political Science and International Relations. In the future she would like to specialize further in the area of international law and politics, perhaps combining the two. Linda is fluent in English and speaks basic French. She usually spends her free time by getting beaten by her friends at squash or by travelling and watching good movies.

Kamila Holoubková

Kamila is a 4th grade student at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University. She spent a year at Université de Fribourg, Switzerland. She participated in European Law Moot Court, in 2012, she qualified for European Law Moot Court regional final in Istanbul. During her studies she has focused mainly on commercial and civil law. Kamila speaks fluent English and is skilled in French and German. In her free time, she likes cooking and she is keen on any kind of sport.

Martin Šlampa

Martin is a 4th year student at the Masaryk University Faculty of Law. His latest obsession is competition law so he hopes it will be the field of his specialization in the future. Martin has been practicing in a law firm dealing mostly with commercial law and he is also a strenuous intern at the Office for the Protection of Competition. As far as free time activities are concerned, Martin used to spend all his free time playing tennis but he quit when he realized he was not going to be the next Roger Federer. Since then he has been enjoying the most time he can spend with friends over a glass of beer. Though, he did not abandon sports completely as he has started playing golf recently. But to be honest, endless searching for golf balls in the woods frustrates him a little…

Martina Závodná

Martina is currently a 4th year student at the Masaryk University Faculty of Law. In 2010/2011 Martina studied at the Aberystwyth University (Wales, UK) where she obtained Legal Theory and Legal Systems Diploma. Her dissertation focused on Air Passengers' Rights in the European Union. She is interested in European Law and both Public and Private International Law. In 2011/2012 she participated in Jessup Moot Court Competition as a Masaryk University Team Member. Alongside legal studies she worked as a paralegal in a law firm as well as took part in various MUNs (Model United Nations). In her spare time Martina is keen on travelling, theatre going and sports. She is also snowboarding and spinning instructor.

Michal Malaník

Michal has just started seventh term at the Faculty of Law. He is interested in law theory and anything connected with international law in general. He has been practicing in a law firm focused mostly on contract and insolvency law. In his free time he plays piano and is keen on reading, most sports and traveling.

Michal Feigler

Michal is a 5th year student at the Faculty of Law. He specializes in international dispute resolution and humanitarian law. While in high school, he spent a year in the United States. Michal speakes English, communicates in German, and enjoys learning French. He devotes his spare time to investing and hunting. Second time VIS Moot participant and currently an exchange student at the University of Akureyri, Iceland.

Vojtěch Faltus

Vojtěch is a 5th year student at the Faculty of Law. He also spent six months studying law in Lithuania on Mykolas Romeris University. He focuses on business and corporate law and writes his diploma thesis on the topic:„Liability of the Board of Directors and Business Judgment Rule“. Vojtěch is also a paralegal in a middle-sized law firm. Vojtěch speaks fluent English and has elementary knowledge of German and Lithuanian. Vojtěch dedicates his leasure time to mountaineering and reading.

JUDr. Klára Drličková, Ph.D.

Klára is currently holding the position of an assistant professor at the Masaryk University, Faculty of Law, in the Department of International and European Law. Her expertise lies in the field of international commercial arbitration and the conflicts of law issues. Her Ph.D. thesis focused on the concept of lex arbitri, its role during the conduct of the arbitration proceedings and especially its influence on the phase of the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.

Mgr. Slavomír Halla

Slavo graduated from Masaryk University, Faculty of Law in 2009. During his studies at MUFL, he became an exchange student with the John Marshall Law School, Chicago and undergoing traineeship in on of the departments of the City of Chicago. After graduating, Slavo enrolled in its Ph.D. program, and he is now in his final year focusing on the international commercial arbitration and the conflicts of law issues. Alongside his doctoral studies, Slavo works as a senior in-house counsel and compliance officer for one of the Czech gas storage operators, part of the oil and gas enterprises. Slavo was 16th Vis Moot participant and since then he has been acting as a coach of Masaryk team and arbitrator in the premoots. In his spare time he enjoys playing badminton, and reading good detective novels.

JUDr. Kyselovská Tereza, Ph.D.

Teraza graduated from the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University in Brno (2008), where she currently works at the Department of International and European Law. She is also Ph.D. student in the field of private international law. She teaches courses in private international law, international commercial law and arbitration. In her research, she focuses on issues of private international law and the Internet. She is one of the couches of the Masaryk University team in the international competition Willem C. Vis International Commercial Moot.
