Boris Barabáš

Boris is a 4th year student at the Masaryk University, Faculty of Law. His interests concerning the law are mainly the ones with the international element. Boris spent a year at High School in the United States and did an internship in Shanghai, China with AIESEC organization. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling to unusual destinations, hiking, digital photography of wildlife and a wide variety of sports.

Klára Bažantová

Klára is a 5th year student at the Masaryk University, Faculty of Law. Her diploma thesis focuses on international transport law which she studied during her student exchange in the Netherlands. Moreover, she is interested in human rights in international law and ADR. She loves travelling because you can combine useful with fun – you can easily improve your language skills. That was reason for her summer working experience in USA which she can recommend to everyone. Apart from English she speaks Spanish and enjoys yoga and cycling.

František Halfar

František is a 4th year student at the Masaryk University Faculty of Law. As he focuses on private law in general, he finds the area of private international law and international arbitration in particular more than attractive. Also for this reason he has spent one semester in Vilnius, Lithuania where he studied, inter alia, international trade and investment law. In his free time he enjoys playing the guitar, sports (mostly football, basketball or skiing) and naturally sleeping. He is also quite a movie fan and keen on travelling and learning foreign languages.

Jan Hlubuček

Jan is a 4th year student of the Masaryk University, Faculty of Law. He participated in the Vis Moot Court in 2011/2012. He spent one academic year in Switzerland studying at universities of Fribourg and Neuchatel, where he focused mainly on issues of international public law, European law, business and competition law and law of international arbitration. Apart from studying law, Jan’s big passion is listening and playing music (he plays an electric guitar), traveling, debating and reading books, mainly on contemporary history.

Martin Hostinský

Martin is a 5th year student at the Masaryk University, Faculty of Law. He is pleased to have benefitted from four semesters in total of law school exchange programs in Dijon, France, Chicago, U.S.A., and Taipei, Taiwan. Therefore, it comes as little surprise that he is interested in international and comparative laws. Martin is fluent in English and also conversant in French and Russian. Though Martin derives great pleasure from his legal studies and a law firm internship, he enjoys balancing that side of his life with the equally challenging discipline of juggling. He has done this all over Europe and the United States for public audiences and friends alike.

Lukáš Kudláč

Lukáš is a 5th year student at the Masaryk University, Faculty of Law. In 2012/2013 he studied at Faculté de droit of Université Paris V Descartes. During his studies he focuses on international dispute resolution, private international and commercial law. Lukas speaks fluently English and has advanced knowledge of French. In his free time he enjoys traveling, politics, architecture and several sports.

Iveta Rohová

Iveta is currently in her first year of Ph.D. studies at the Masaryk University, Faculty of Law. She is mainly interested in (European) private international law, international (commercial) arbitration, international trade law, as well as in EU law. During her high school studies, she spent an academic year in the USA. She speaks English fluently, has basic knowledge of German and French and enjoys learning Italian. In her spare time she likes to travel and is keen on reading, learning foreign languages, and practising sports (especially skiing, cycling, power yoga, badminton, karts). She is also interested in both conventional and alternative medicine.

JUDr. Klára Drličková, Ph.D.

Klára is currently holding the position of a senior lecturer at the Masaryk University, Faculty of Law, in the Department of International and European Law. Her expertise lies mainly in the field of international commercial arbitration and the conflicts of law issues. She serves as a coach of the Masaryk University Vis Moot team for the third time. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, reading books, practising yoga and meeting friends.

Mgr. Zdeněk Nový, Ph.D., LL.M.

Zdeněk is a senior lecturer in international law at the Masaryk University, Faculty of Law. On his good days, he also tries to act as an attorney at law and a legal expert in international law and arbitration. He finished successfully his doctoral studies in 2012, while his thesis dealt with good faith in international commercial contracts. He also earned LL.M. in Comparative, European and International Laws from European University Institute in Florence, Italy. This is the first year when Zdeněk serves as a coach to the Vis Moot team. In his spare time Zdeněk enjoys travelling, reading novels and swimming.
