Kateřina studies her last year at the Faculty of Law. Beside her interest in International Commercial and Civil Law, she focuses on International Private Law, International Commercial Arbitration and International & EU Law. She was pleased to get an opportunity to study one year exchange program in a wonderful country, the Netherlands. Thanks to the studying abroad she improved her legal knowledge and also gained great life experience. She had a chance to practice law via a couple of legal internships she did alongside her studies. One of her big enjoyment is learning foreign languages. She speaks English and German fluently. It is a big pleasure for her that law is also her hobby and fulfills her. Beside that she likes meeting new people and is passionate about improv comedy.

Gabriela is currently in her final year at the Faculty of Law. During her studies she has been focussing on European and international law. She spent spring 2014 in the United Kingdom studying at Nottingham Law School and did an internship in Brussel, Belgium with Fair Trade Advocacy Office. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, meeting new people and is keen on reading and doing any kind of sports.

David is a 4th year student at the Faculty of Law. Last year he received a bachelor's degree from Law and International Trade at the same faculty. Besides his studies he has spent over a year as legal practicant for major czech law firm. David is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of German. In his free time he enjoys sports (runnig, fitness, badminton and martial arts) and arts (literature, music, theater, films, etc.). He is also interested in politics, history and economics.

Michal is in his 4th year at Faculty of Law. He is interested in private international law, international commercial law and public procurement. Michal is fluent in English and speaks basic Spanish. Apart from studying law Michal enjoys all kinds of sports and he is keen on music and videography.

Miloslav Kabrhel

Since he had failed to become the youngest billionaire ever, Miloslav has deciced to study law at the Masaryk university. He is currently in the 4th year and has also spent one semester at Universität Salzburg. Miloslav is dedicated to the whole area of private law, mainly by virtue of his activity at the Departure of Civil Law of the Masaryk University, where he works as a Research Assistant. In his leisure time, he loves road cycling, listening to jazz and scotch-tasting. His favourite movie is "The Last Samurai".

Marcela Kašpárková

Marcela is the 5th year student at the Faculty of Law. She spent the spring of 2014 at the Ghent University in Belgium where she focused on European and International Law. Her diploma thesis concerns Offset Agreements in International Trade. Marcela has gained practical legal experiences through internships in law firms and she has also taken part in several legal competitions. In her spare time she enjoys trekking and backpacking and she participates in mountain ultramarathons.

Veronika Mrkosová

Veronika is a 5th year student at the Faculty of Law. She spent last semester in Aarhus, Denmark, studying International Trade Law and International Contracts. Moreover she is interested in Private International Law – both in commercial and family matters. In her spare time she enjoys doing sports, travelling, reading books and learning foreign languages. JUDr. Klára Drličková, Ph.D.

Klára is currently holding the position of a senior lecturer at the Masaryk University, Faculty of Law, in the Department of International and European Law. Her expertise lies mainly in the field of Private International Law. She focused mainly on the relations bewteen uniform substantive rules and the coflict-of-laws rules. She serves as a coach of the Masaryk University Vis Moot team for fourth time. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, reading books, practising yoga and meeting friends.

Mgr. Slavomír Halla

After graduating from Masaryk university (including US study stay), Slavo enrolled into PhD study program with a focus on conflicts-of-law, international trade and arbitration. In fall 2014 he handed in his dissertation thesis which surveyed the role of consent in international arbitration in connection with a third party phenomenon. Slavo has been involved with the competition since 2008, where he was one of the first students to represent Masaryk University in the Moot and its oral rounds. He has been acting as a coach for 17th - 20th Moot teams, and shall act as a senior advisor for 22nd moot team. At the same time, he serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Friends of VIS Moot in Brno association. Professionally, Slavo started his legal carrier after graduation as an in-house counsel for various parts of MND group of companies, focusing on contract management, energy regulation and oil&gas issues. Currently, Slavo holds position of Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors in gas storage company. Enjoys playing badminton, and striving to learn playing piano.

Mgr. Martin Hostinský

Martin is a fresh graduate of the Faculty of Law. He is pleased to have benefitted from four semesters in total of law school exchange programs in Dijon, France, Chicago, U.S.A., and Taipei, Taiwan. Therefore, it comes as little surprise that he is interested in International and Comparative Laws. Martin is fluent in English and also conversant in French and Russian. Though Martin derives great pleasure from his everyday law firm commitments, he enjoys balancing that side of his life with the equally challenging discipline of juggling. He has done this all over Europe and the United States for public audiences and friends alike.

Mgr. Iveta Rohová

Iveta is currently enrolled as a PhD student at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University, in the Department of International and European Law. She focuses on Private International Law, namely cross-border civil litigation and international commercial arbitration, and is also interested in international trade law. She participated in the 21st VIS Moot Competition as a Masaryk University VIS Moot Team member and now serves as one of the Team coaches. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading books, learning foreign languages, and practicing sports (cycling, skiing, swimming, power yoga, playing badminton).
