The second round of the selection process will be held in the second half of May 2021 via a teleconference.

What is the Vis Moot?

• The Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot is one of the biggest moot court competitions in the world annually held in Vienna and Hong Kong (Vis East). The problem of the moot concerns issues on international trade (UN Convention on the International Sale of Goods) and international commercial arbitration
• The moot consists of 2 parts – submitting written memoranda for both claimant and respondent and the oral phase of the competition
• During the preparation stage, you will have the opportunity to meet practitioners from various law firms
• Before final rounds in Vienna, many universities organize the so-called pre-moots (e.g. in Beograd, Budapest, Hannover, Paris). The team can take part in some of them to test their arguments.
